This classification is typically for an individual who has worked in business to create meaningful employment, who has improved standards and given back to the community through developing extensive CSR or charitable strategies. The individual may have developed a business to improve a deprived area, created a business as a social enterprise or has pioneered new employee standards giving hope and aspiration to members of the community. This individual may have worked in the business for an extensive period of time or been instrumental in creating opportunities for the local population. It could be an entrepreneur whose vision and aptitude has enriched the lives of people in the local community or drawn in more business through its supply chain. Typically we are looking for exceptional people from the business community who can be held up as role models to inspire others.
